About Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC)

Haryana Staff Selection Commission Governed by the Haryana Government. HSSC Established under Article 309 of the constitution of India.

It is established on 28 January 1970 in earlier is known as the Subordinate Services  Selection Board (SSSB).

But the Government of Haryana changed its name now it is known as Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC).

HSSC (Haryana Staff Selection Commission) Conducts for the Haryana Services for Group C and D post. Also Recruits some post of Group B.

 In Haryana Staff Selection Commission  Seven Members are working including the Chairman. All Members are appointed by the Haryana government.

The retirement age of HSSC Chairman has 68 years and the other members of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission age are 65 years.    

HSSC Eligibility Criteria:-

The candidate must have essential educational qualifications, age limits and also medical standards for applying for any Govt job.

The candidate must have passed minimum qualification in 10 standards from a recognized board are eligible for any post in Haryana Government.

For any Govt. Job candidates must have a good charter and have no criminal case on the candidate.

If candidates don’t have a residential certificate and character certificate then-candidate could not be eligible for any Govt. job in India.

The person of another country like Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and the United Republic of Tanzania, etc. Who wants to apply the post of Clerk the person must have a certificate of eligibility provided by the Govt. of India.

The candidate of other States is counted in the General Category.

Candidate age limit criteria

Every Govt job has an age limit for the different vacancy have different age limit criteria.

The minimum age of approximately in Haryana is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 42 years and depends on a post according to there matric certificate but nowadays more valid of age proof is a birth certificate.

But some reserved category Govt also provided relaxation in age according to there category.

Age Relaxation:-

  • The age relaxation is given by the Govt. for the reserved category like Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe(ST), Other Backward Caste (OBC).
  • Also given by Govt.  those candidates who are Ex-Servicemen Group C & B (Non -Gazetted) and Meritorious Sports Person and Kashmiri Migrant etc.
  • Relaxation in the age is also given by the Govt. to those candidates who are

Educational Qualification

In every govt. Job Candidate has minimum educational qualifications for every post.

Candidate must have passed in metric with the recognized board in Hindi /Sanskrit in 12/B.A/Bsc/M.sc/M.com/B.Tech and any other have one subject in degree.

Eligibility of Medical standard
